Sunset Cabin on Three Mile Pond

Location, location, location is what this lovely cottage is all about. It sits on a beautiful spot on Three Mile Pond with a large yard and some privacy. The cabin is very upscale with a beautiful kitchen, gas appliances & breakfast bar. There is a large screen tv in the main living room. The master bedroom has a queen bed, tv & dressers. The guest bedroom has a single bed & double futon. The bath is very nice with shower stall. Newly added are the washer/dryer, wireless internet and satellite tv. Outside is the very cozy guest cabin with a double bed that looks onto the lake, double futon, kitchenette and bath with shower stall. You can use the canoe or kayak provided to explore the lake. In the evening, you can toast some marshmallows by the fire pit and enjoy the sunset view of the lake.

  I highly recommend this camp for anyone wanting an amazing get away. We spent two weeks and wish we could have stayed longer. The camp itself is beautiful, felt brand new. The beds are really comfortable, as is all of the furniture. The second camp is a real treat. The yard is shaded, the fire pit is great and the lake is wonderful. We swam and kayaked every day, barely leaving once we arrived. It is our dream to be able to return every summer.

  Our first stay here was wonderful! The cabin is beautiful, comfortable and well appointed. We watched amazing sunsets over the lake from the porch and were spellbound by the loons calling. We fished, swam and explored the pond with the canoe and kayak available for guests. We will definitely be back next year! It really couldn't be a more perfect vacation.

  My family and I had one of the best vacations ever! Lakeside vacationing has the right amount of activity and rest. The serene mornings on the lake were beautiful and within an hour's drive, we had whale watching, Bar Harbor and Boat rentals.

  The cabin and the bunk house exceeded our expectations. About the only thing we would add is a window air conditioner in the bunk house. Being Floridians we are used to hot weather and what we experienced in Maine was nothing compared to our home temps, still the bunk house was a little warm with the outside temps in the upper 80s.The location is a little of the beaten path in a rural area which we loved. The is a well stocked grocery store within three miles, several gas stations and several mom and pop eateries.

  This is a lovely cabin & bunk house with all new eather
  Furniture, pillows & mattresses, as well as stainless steel appliances...Even a washer & dryer. Tastefully decorated, comfortable and reasonably priced. It is conveniently located between a Hannaford Supermarket and Hussey’s General Store. Hussey’s is an unique place in itself...They have everything from hunting/fishing gear to wedding gowns. Three Mile Pond is clean and quiet. There is a dock with a canoe & kayak as well as life jackets. We can’t wait to come back to the little piece of paradise.

  A very nice cabin. The websites pictures don’t do it justice. We loved the location. It was far off the road in a small town but close enough to Augusta if you decide you want shopping, restaurants. This cabin offered so many amenities from games, fully stocked kitchen items, outside furniture, grill, kayak, canoe. Great sunsets, great fishing. We really enjoyed ourselves and would definitely go back.

  Absolutely beautiful spot, enjoyed a family of loons, an eagle. Nice “cabin” and accomodations, outdoor firepit and furniture, canoe (brought our own kayaks) all in great shape. A couple of cons...really hard to get hot water to guest cabin shower even following instructions, no place for small children to eat inside (breakfast bar for adults), no reading lamps in living room. Pros far outweighed the cons!
