This updated camp is at the end of a private road, nestled in the trees on Minnehonk Lake with the sounds of the loons on the lake. Plenty of room for the kids to play and explore. Steps down to the lake for swimming or boating. A large firepit area great for hanging out, relaxing and roasting marshmallows. A screened in porch for quiet breakfasts or for fun game evenings.

  We loved our stay at Loon Cove! It was a great and private location at the end of a camp road. The camp is situated on a large wooded lot with a terrific fire pit. It is convenient to the town of Mt. Vernon and its great restaurant Scapes.
  There was a large shallow waterfront which was great for our 5-year old grandson and which was easy for launching kayaks and swimming. We enjoyed sitting on the dock and watching and listening to the loons.
  
  The home is a rustic camp built and maintained by the owner and his family. It felt like home for us where we stayed for close to four months. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and baking. The view from the second floor bedroom is a vista of lake and woods. The screened porch is real plus.
