  The last time I stayed in Paddle Inn was 2015. This August I returned and very little had changed. By that I mean the cottage has retained all of its comfort and privacy, and the surrounding property is just as beautiful, and well maintained as it was 7 years ago. This cottage is a jewel in the crown of Belgrade Vacation Rentals and is unsurpassed in all that one looks for in a get away spot in this area.

  We had an amazing week at The Paddle Inn! The only “issue” was that the swimming area was very slimy and weedy. Also, somewhat close to the road, which I should have researched more. Very nice that the accept dogs though. I would have preferred something more remote and away from the road and not have the owners directly next door. They were helpful and, mostly, polite, but felt a little as though we were being watched and sometimes as an inconvenience. The wife seemed annoyed at times and was not as friendly as her husband.

  Our family gathered here to spend the week together playing our summer olympic survivor games. The owners couldn't have been any more accommodating. Everything at the camp that was needed was provided and clean. Also a small AC was in the common area of the camp providing some cooler air while cooking inside. The space inside the camp allowed us to congregate in the kitchen, dining and living room area when prepping for meals. The large deck and table gave great space for outdoor dining. The walk to the lake from the camp,(a grassy and open sloping hill) though not far, provided us with just enough gentle exercise, as you know how much camp eating can add to the waistline. We brought our SeaDoo with us and loaded in through the boat launch on Salmon Lake and navigated the channel to McGrath Pond with no problems. Ron allowed us to dock at the camp. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Paddle Inn and will definitely look to rent again.

  This camp has everything you need. It has beautiful deck overlooking the lake. The owners are wonderful and very helpful. They live right next door but you are free to enjoy your vacation as they are on hand if you need them but they respect your privacy. They provide canoes, kayaks, a paddle boat, life jackets; everything you need to enjoy the water. They let me have my husband's 50th birthday party there and even brought him a card and a bottle of honey. Wonderful owners and wonderful camp. Would highly recommend.😁

  Our vacation stay at Paddle Inn was perfect! The camp was in great condition and the big deck got a lot of use! Plenty of water toys to use. Fishing was great, both my kids got bass 18"long off the sick! McGrath (McGraw) Pond is one of the quiet lakes with minimal boat traffic. Owner lives next door and they are super nice and extremely helpful! Would stay there again!

  We've been coming up to McGrath Pond for over 20 years and so know the are pretty well. I've often admired the Paddle Inn from the road and wondered what it would be like to stay there, not knowing that it was possible. We had a most relaxing and enjoyable stay. We're used to bringing linens and towels and many items for the kitchen, so it was nice to have these available. Also the use of laundry and outside gas grill was a plus. Internet was good until the last night but that may have been weather related. Easy access to the pond and the owners were very hospitable and helpful. Hands down our best stay in the Belgrades thus far.

  Everything about our experience was positive. The cottage is a very easy commute to Colby and if you have more than 2 people for graduation - I would absolutely reccommend renting this house.   My son and I have taken a fishing trip to McGrath Pond for over twenty years. We began our trips with my own father and have since had the pleasure by having my four year old grandson join us for a day. The Paddle Inn has the beauty and convenience of the lake while having the amenities to include other family members. There's a great dock, kayaks, a paddle boat and a large deck to just sit out, relax and enjoy the scenery. The fishing is always great and it's the perfect place to continue our familiy tradition.   Our family of 3 had a wonderful time at the Paddle Inn. The owners live next door and were helpful with maps and directions to nearby stores. We weren't far from grocery shopping or the highway. It's very convenient yet so peaceful. And it wasn't buggy
  like other places we've stayed. The Paddle Inn is cozy and just feels like home. We are looking forward to another stay! Thank you to the owners!~!

  The cottage was great and the location was perfect for us. Only 10 mins into town to get groceries, wood, bait, etc. 3 separate bedrooms was perfect. Big plus was the washer/dryer! Nice back yard for kids to play on. Nice big deck out back overlooking the water was perfect for everything we did. Would plan on staying here again.

  We enjoyed our stay at the Paddle Inn very much. We are a family with 2 children ages 6 and 8. This is the perfect place for a family with children. The shore offers swimming, paddle boating, fishing off the dock, canoes, a great campfire space and a long lawn for games. We enjoyed each and every one! The home is clean and user friendly. The beds are very comfortable. The large deck with a grill is perfect for eating outside and lounging. In addition, being friends with the owners, friends we enjoy spending every 4th of July with, it was so great to have a place of our own and not overstay our welcome in their home. We always want to stay longer at the lake and now we can!

  Great location. loved the yard and the locking gates to the large patio. They made it safer for my 2 year old grand daughter. The beach area and dock are nice but the lake bottom was quite mucky with grasses. The owners live next door and are great, very helpful. Shsllow entrance to lake great for small children. Had great fun with the paddle boat. Plan to stay again next year. The lake views are wonderful and area is quiet. It feels remote but is near to everything.

  Everything about our vacation at the Paddle Inn was perfect! It was very clean, spacious, and well-equipped. It was great having a washer and dryer and internet access! The back deck was awesome for grilling, eating at the table, or just lounging and enjoying the gorgeous view of the lake. There is a nice large grassy yard in the back and we had a picnic there too! The fire pit area was perfect and we thoroughly enjoyed making s’mores and hotdogs lakeside. The canoe and paddle boat were great fun too! The owners were very friendly and helpful. The location is great - it’s away from the hustle and bustle but still close enough to “civilization” (aka groceries, movies, shopping, etc). No complaints at all and we highly recommend!
